Somebody turned 5!

My sweet littlest girl turned 5 on July 1. She was so very sad all of April as birthdays came and went and she had to wait patiently (not really very patiently). After Jada's birthday on the 13th she excitingly asked was it her turn next? I said not yet. Then she proceeded to repeat the same question "Is it my turn NOW?" after Maggies's birthday, then mine, and then Carter's. By the end of April I think she hated birthdays. She had given up on them and given up on hers ever coming.
As July approached I mentioned that it was almost her turn! She was so excited! Her cousins were in town the week of her birthday also, which made it extra special!
Instead of  birthDAY, we turned it into a birthWEEK. She loved her week and it was so cute to watch her excitement.

We had a party at Skyzone in McDoungh for her and her cousins. She had asked many times for her party to be there, but it is very pricey. So we just had the party for her, her siblings and her cousins. She loved it! I will also add that the birthday party here is amazing. They do EVERYTHING and serve you like a Queen. Well worth the money.

Here are some pictures from the party.

After the Skyzone Party, we went camping at FDR State Park with some of our dearest friends for the night. The next day, her actual birthday, we spent the day swimming at the Liberty Bell Pool at the state park and had pizza and cookie cake with all our friends. She loved this party too.

She finished off her night with a birthday dinner with her Mema and Papa and cupcakes and flowers from her daddy.  So blessed to have this little girl in our lives!
