Crock Pot Spaghetti

This recipe was very good. Now, I will go ahead and tell you upfront that it is a bit on the "mushy" side. If you like your pasta "al dente", this might not be the recipe for you! If you have 4 kids and soccer practice tonight... It's a winner! I like dinners that will be ready for us when we walk in the door from practice!

Crockpot Spaghetti:
Ease:**** Taste:***

1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 pepper
2 minced garlic cloves
2 jars pasta sauce (I used Preggo)
1 pound spaghetti noodles
1/2 cup parmesan
4oz. cream cheese
1 tsp italian seasoning
olive oil
1 can chicken broth

Cook the minced garlic in the olive oil. Saute for 2 mins. Add the ground beef, cook until browned. Stir in the salt, pepper, and italian season.  Add one jar of sauce to crockpot. Top with spaghetti noodles broken in half. Top with cooked and seasoned beef. Top parmesan and diced cream cheese. Top with last jar of pasta sauce. Cook on high 2-3 hours. Stir in the can of chicken broth (it may not need the whole can) Turn on low on cook for an additional 1. It may not need to continue cooking however. I turned my crockpot on the warm for the last hour. Top with parmesan cheese and enjoy!

Brown the garlic and ground beef.

Add in all the dry seasoning.

First layer- pasta sauce.

Second layer- uncooked noodles.

Third layer- Beef.

Fourth layer- cream cheese and parmesan.

Fifth layer- pasta sauce.

Enjoy!
